Surf Development

CAPE TOWN SURF ASSIST:
CTSA a registered out reach program since 2001 run by ex professional provincial, national surfer, W.P Surfing President and National SA top surfing Coach Liam Wood.
With an avid passion for children and helping others flourish, Cape Town Surf Assist heart and soul lies within the communities of Cape Town.
With a need for not only education, but love and the opportunity to walk away from difficult lives and heart wrenching circumstances, CTSA aims to give children the opportunity of experiencing fun and freedom in the waves.

Targeting the local Township of Imizamo Yethu & Hangberg, CTSA self funds a programme to combat impoverished lives and aims towards helping give the children something to look forward to in surfing.

Our programmes run weekly teaching all the basics, from learning to swim, learning to surf, ABC of surfing, ocean safety, awareness, introduction to competitive surfing, learning to face fears and receiving attention and love is what CTSA wishes to give the children.

Any contribution to development the future surfers of tomorrow would be hugely appreciated – sponsor a surfer, donations, old surfboards & equipment is highly needed.

South African Surfing and The Lotto sponsor one of the most successful surf academies in the country.
With a provincial team that rivals any other – our hopes and dreams are to build the dreams of the children that become part of our program and that they too may develop into a surf competitor.
