Adin Jeenes, winner of the Zigzag/Hurley Sponsor Me Shootout, off to Indo earlier than expected. : 9/23/2009 12:27:00

22 SEPT 2009: Adin Jeenes is one stoked surfer. A mere two months ago Adin was one of the many ripping underground surfers in South Africa, quietly shredding on his own buck, forking out cash for boards, wetties, travel etc... But since winning the Zigzag/Hurley Sponsor Me Shootout early last month, things have changed for Adin. He has just left for Indo on an all expenses paid trip by his new sponsor, Hurley, a year earlier than expected. Hurley Team manager, Liam Wood, had this to say, "We are so excited to have Adin on board the Hurley Team, and we thought that it would be a great opportunity to send him to Indo sooner than expected, so he left today and will be joining photog Alan van Gysen, Shaun Payne and our other Hurley team rider, Don Zoetmulder, on a photo trip to Sumatra from 22 September - 3 October." Adin had to make a few quick schedule changes at work after learning that his new sponsor wanted to send him to Indo so soon, but he managed to pursuade his boss that it was for the greater good of the company. A clearly happy Adin said, “I am so stoked to be given this opportunity to ride for Hurley and to go on a trip with such a great bunch of guys to Indo, I cant wait to get there already!” A massive 20 foot swell at 20 sec is scheduled to hit Indo Sumatra next week. Have fun in Indo Adin, and watch out for those Benchongs...
